Our team of three general dentists, one pediatric dentist, and one dentist anesthesiologist, is passionate about the dental health of children. We are dedicated to providing quality care to our patients and compassionate empathy to their families. We invite you to get to know our doctors:

Brad Green, DDS

Dr. Brad Green grew up in Southeast Missouri and earned his BA in Psychology from Webster University in St. Louis. While in school, he worked for a non-profit agency that assisted families living with Autism. Through his work with this community, Dr. Green gained an appreciation of the difficulties encountered by special needs individuals in many aspects of their daily lives – including visits to the dentist. This unique experience led to his interest in dental anesthesia.

Dr. Green went on to earn his DDS from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2012. He then completed his residency in Dental Anesthesiology at Jacobi Medical Center in New York City in 2014.In addition to working in the main hospital operating rooms, a significant portion of this training was devoted solely to treating special needs patients through The Special Care Dentistry Unit at Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Green then joined a private practice in Denver, Colorado and provided anesthesia services for dentists throughout the state prior to moving to Charlottesville in 2017.

Outside of the office he enjoys trivia, hiking and camping, visiting historical places, and attending concerts.

Jessica Moore, DDS

Dr. Jessica Moore was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Health Sciences from James Madison University. She then attended dental school and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland. She joined the team at Children’s Dentistry of Charlottesville after relocating from Maryland in 2013. She has acted as an instrumental volunteer with the Mission of Mercy dental projects in Virginia and Maryland and also founded an organization to help run future Mission of Mercy clinics in Maryland.

Additionally, she has actively volunteered with Give Kids a Smile, National Children’s Dental Health Month, and the Charlottesville Free Clinic. Dr. Moore is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Charlottesville Albemarle Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She and her husband enjoy country life with their two children and golden retriever.

Anna Dinh, DDS

Dr. Anna Dinh was born and raised in Vietnam before moving permanently to Charlottesville, Virginia in 1997. Dr. Dinh graduated from James Madison University with a Master’s in Biology. She then completed her dental education at Roseman University in Utah and was awarded her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in Utah, Dr. Dinh picked up snowboarding, camping, and hiking hobbies and is looking forward to exploring Virginia all over again. 

She loves traveling, learning new cultures, and trying new food. On her days off, she likes to spend time with her nieces, nephew, and Ollie, her Jack Russel mix puppy. 

Jose Urresti, DDS

Jose Urresti, DDS was born and raised in Peru. He graduated from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in 2001. He worked as a General Dentist in several practices in Peru performing all aspects of dentistry for a wide variety of patients until 2007. After moving to the United States in 2007, Dr. Urresti completed a two year Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry and a one year Fellowship certificate at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. During those programs he was trained in cutting-edge technology and evidence-based dentistry with a solid foundation in knowledge and skills.

Dr. Urresti then accepted a faculty position at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Urresti also worked as the On-Site Dental Director at Community Health Center Inc. in Middletown, Connecticut, where he provided dental care for adults and pediatric patients. Dr. Urresti moved to Charlottesville, Virginia to join Children’s Dentistry of Charlottesville in July 2014. During his free time Dr. Urresti enjoys spending time with his wife and son doing outdoor activities. He also enjoys playing tennis and golf.

John Will, DDS

Dr. John Will comes from Tennessee and attended Southern Adventist University prior to dental school.  He completed three years of undergraduate education prior to receiving early acceptance to Loma Linda University Dental School.  His doctorate of dental surgery (DDS) was awarded in 2008 and Dr. Will was recognized as an outstanding student at Loma Linda University and was honored to receive the Anderson Award.  Dr. Will extended his stay at Loma Linda University by enrolling in the dental anesthesiology residency program.  During his two years of training, he received extensive education in pharmacology, physiology, internal medicine, general anesthesia and conscious sedation.

Dr. Will helped publish an article in the July 2010 issue of Dental Clinics of North America. He is a member of the Special Care Dentistry Association, American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, and a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. When not at work, Dr. Will enjoys traveling, exercising, being outdoors, enjoying the amazing restaurants, wineries and breweries of Charlottesville, and watching or reading about basketball. He and his wife live in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville with their three boys, Benjamin, Adrian, and Gideon.

Barrett W. R. Peters, DDS, MSD

Dr. Barrett W. R. Peters grew up in Charlottesville and graduated from Hampden-Sydney College. He spent a few years working prior to deciding to pursue career in dentistry and completing the necessary prerequisites. He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and continued at VCU to complete a post-doctoral Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and residency in the specialty of pediatric dentistry. During his speciality training, Dr. Peters was selected as the annual Samuel D. Harris Research and Policy Fellow by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and his research was subsequently published in the Journal of the American Dental Association.
 
Dr. Peters has served in many leadership roles within organized dentistry at both the state and national levels, including as President of the Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Peters is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist) and a Fellow of the AAPD (FAAPD), American College of Dentists (FACD), and International College of Dentists (FICD). He currently serves as an Affiliate Professor within the VCU Department of Pediatric Dentistry and is an Official National Spokesperson for the AAPD.
 
After operating a multi-location private practice for a decade, Dr. Peters joined forces with Children’s Dentistry of Charlottesville in 2023 and is grateful to continue to serve the families of this wonderful area. In his free time, he can be found traveling or spending time with his family and their English Labrador Retriever somewhere between Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay.

Jessica Eisenberg, DDS, MSD

Dr. Jessica Eisenberg was born and raised in Maryland. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stevenson University and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Eisenberg completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at VCU where she also earned her Master of Science in Dentistry. During her residency, she served as the chief resident. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, and going to the beach.

Avanthika Balasubramanian, DDS

Avanthika Balasubramanian is a dentist with a passion for pediatric care. Hailing from India, she had four years of valuable experience as a dentist before embarking on an exciting journey to the USA. After rekindling her dental education at NYU in New York, she eventually found her calling in Charlottesville, Virginia. Joining the esteemed team at Children’s Dentistry of Charlottesville, her heartwarming connection with kids continues to drive her commitment to providing exceptional dental care in a pediatric setting.

Beyond the dental world she is an avid explorer who delights in discovering new places. Her interests span various creative outlets, including photography, painting, and pottery. This diverse range of passions enriches her life and allows her to approach dentistry with a fresh perspective and an eye for detail.
